Two Summit Hill residents were charged with possession of drugs following two separate incidents.
On April 26, borough police observed a vehicle driving with an expired registration.A traffic stop was initiated and police then smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.Officers found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the driver's possession, later identified as Sean Higgins, 39, of 20 W. Amidon St.He was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and an expired registration.On April 29, police received a report of a 15-year-old female who had a small amount of marijuana in her possession at her residence, as well as drug paraphernalia.She was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
