Northern Lehigh alumna Aimee Oertner is once again making an impact in her sophomore season for Division 1 basketball team Army.Oertner, who has started eight out of the Black Knights 10 games this season is averaging almost 23 minutues per game.She's averaging 7.5 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per contest, and is shooting 52 percent from the field.The Black Knights are currently 7-3 on the season.Robinson making an impact at MillersvilleFormer Jim Thorpe basketball standout Celeste Robinson is having a solid sophomore campaign at Division 2 Millersville this season.Robinson has started seven out of the Marauders eight games and is averaging 28 minutes per game, which leads the team.She is averaging 11.4 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per contest. Robinson is also shooting an impressive 49% from the field and is averaging 2.1 steals per game as well.The Marauders are currently 4-4 on the year.Yenolevich off to good start for KutztownNorthwestern graduate Evan Yenolevich is wrestling well for Division 2 Kutztown to start the 2013-14 season.Yenolevich is 7-1, wrestling in the 133-pound weight class.In the preseason, Yenolevich was ranked No. 2 overall at 133 pounds in the NWCA Division II Super Region 1 preseason rankings, and sixth in the NCAA national rankings.Veppert having solid season at WilkesNorthwestern alum Levi Veppert is off to a solid start for Wilkes in Division 3 wrestling this season.Veppert is 10-4, wrestling in the 184-pound weight class. He's finished fourth at the Monarch Invitational and fifth at the Messiah Petrofes this season.Veppert has a career record of 29-15.Smelas getting time for WilkesJim Thorpe graduate Chelsea Smelas is seeing time for Division 3 Wilkes in her sophomore season.Smelas is averaging 20 minutes per game, which is good for sixth on the team.She is averaging three points per game and 4.6 rebounds per game.Wilkes is currently 1-6 on the season.
