Two men from Monroe County will be charged with terroristic threats and simple assault as a result of an altercation that happened at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday at 1135 Red Fox Court in Polk Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said Ryan Bowers, 25, and Edward Fernandez, 52, were involved in a verbal altercation that progressed into a physical altercation in which a handgun was brandished.Their residences were not provided by police.
