A California man was cited for an incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers on patrol at 12:17 a.m. on July 7 observed a man operating a pickup at the rear of the Wells Fargo branch bank in Mount Pocono throwing two bags of garbage into a dumpster.The truck then left the bank lot and was stopped along Route 940. The driver was identified as Hieu Tran, 47, of Rosemead.He told officers he had an account with the bank and could leave his garbage there. Police advised him otherwise and he was issued a citation for scattering rubbish.
