A vehicle stolen from carnival grounds in Monroe County, was later found crashed.
Pocono Mountain Regional police were called to the Mount Pocono carnival grounds at 11:56 p.m. Monday for a report of a stolen vehicle. On scene the officers were told by the vehicle's owner, who was not identified by police, that his Honda Prelude had been stolen. He had parked the vehicle on a lot at the carnival while he attended the carnival. When he later returned the vehicle was gone.Police said the Honda was later found crashed into a parked tractor trailer off Route 611 near Veterans Drive in Coolbaugh Township.Anyone having information concerning this incident is asked to call police at 570-895-2400.
