State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle incident that happened between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Wednesday at 995 Hahn's Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

The victim is Michelle Kelhart of Palmerton.She told police someone entered her unlocked 2013 Chevrolet Cruze that was parked in her driveway and stole a Garmin GPS and a pink wallet. The wallet was empty, police said.
