A Lansford woman was charged after she was found to be intoxicated while behind the wheel of a vehicle.

According to Summit Hill police, at 1:15 a.m., on May 11, officers on patrol observed a vehicle stopped in the middle of the intersection not moving.Police went up to the vehicle and found Nicole Comitino, 33, of 30 1/2 W. Abbott St., behind the wheel and intoxicated.She was charged with two counts driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.
