A driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 10:50 p.m. on Saturday along Route 903 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said Elaine H. Micelli, 73, and John F. Schrader, 55, both of Jim Thorpe, were southbound when the front of Schrader's 2011 Lincoln MKZ struck the left rear side area of Micelli's 2003 Buick LeSabre. No one was injured and the vehicles sustained moderate damages.A further investigation revealed Schrader was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody and transported to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
