February 10, 1967 Weatherly scores the final five points of the game, four of them by John Hartz, to give the Wreckers a 59-57 Anthracite League comeback win over Jim Thorpe. The winners, coached by Bill Knepper, actually trail by 13 points in the third quarter before beginning their rally. Hartz and Henry Panckeri both finish the contest with a game-high 17 points. Weatherly also receives 11 points from Charlie Potter. The Olympians are led by Clem McGinley's 17 points.
