Three people selling meat products out of a van/truck were cited by Tamaqua police on July 24.

Jamison Lee DeGroft, 31, of Abbottstown, Adams County, Robert Steven Kelly, 27, of Millers, Maryland, and Shelley Ann Sweet, 25, of Ocean City, Maryland, were in the Dutch Hill area of the borough during the afternoon, offering various cuts of meat for sale.When officers found the trio on East Elm Street, DeGroft initially tried to say they were just lost, but then admitted they did not have a solicitation permit.All three were cited for soliciting without a permit.
