Three Monroe County residents have been identified as victims of access device fraud acts involving the illegal use of Visa credit cards.
The victims are Barbara L. and Ronald Yarashas, both of Effort, and Vivian Iola Morris, 71, of Reeders.State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the cases which were uncovered in July and August.Police said Morris was made aware by Visa that fraudulent cash advances were made from her credit card in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 11:59 p.m. July 22.The Yarashases were made aware that charges were fraudulently being made on their account between noon and 10 p.m. Aug. 6.
