A Nesquehoning woman has been cited by Tamaqua police after failing to make good on a bad check she issued to Koch's Notary Service in May.

Celesse Ann Kieffer, 38, of 143 W. Ridge St., wrote a check for $121 to Koch's on May 1 for notary services. The check was returned due to insufficient funds in Kieffer's account.She was cited for issuing a bad check.
