Two Luzerne County residents are facing retail theft charges for an incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to the Walmart store in Mount Pocono at 12:46 a.m. on Monday, for two male suspects wanted for theft and who had just fled the store and were observed leaving in a black Mitsubishi.A few minutes later police observed the vehicle fleeing eastbound on Route 940, toward Route 611. Police initiated a vehicle stop and took both men into custody.The two were identified as Stephen Orlando, 22, of Drums, and Ryan Composto, 23, of Hazleton. The two were charged with retail theft and other counts and placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.
