State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary and theft of a vehicle incident.

Troopers said the home of Shirley Dorshimer, 55, of 2103 Hillcrest Circle, Saylorsburg, was entered overnight of Sunday into Monday. Entry was gained through an unsecured basement door. While inside the criminals removed a set of keys for the victim's 2001 Buick Century, which was parked in the driveway.The criminals exited the home and took the vehicle. The Buick is beige with a front green corner panel on the passenger side, and an aluminum color corner panel on the driver's side.
