A Schuylkill County man has been charged with retail theft for an incident at a county mall.

State police at Frackville said James Keith Cassarella II, 25, of Pottsville, was arrested at 2 p.m. Wednesday for an incident in the FYE store in the Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township.Troopers said Cassarella entered the store with two other people. Once inside he grabbed a pair of Aviator headphones and walked to the rear of the store where he opened the package and concealed the headphones on his person. He then exited the store without paying for the item.He was apprehended a short time later in the nearby Cracker Barrel restaurant parking lot, troopers said.
