An Allentown man was cited by McAdoo police following a traffic stop on Aug. 18.
Justin Fisher, 20, was stopped for failing to lower his high beams for oncoming traffic. While speaking with Fisher, the officer observed a bottle of New Amsterdam vodka on the floor. A search of the vehicle turned up a small amount of marijuana, a small grinder, a large glass bong and a digital scale.Also found was a knife with an 8.5 inch blade, found tucked between the front passenger seat and center console.Fisher was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as traffic offenses.The passenger, Sara Rimmer, 19, of Bloomsburg, initially denied any knowledge of the knife, but later admitted it was hers.She was cited for possession of a prohibited offensive weapon and transporting alcohol.
