Police investigate thefts in Polk

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating two incidents of theft from a motor vehicle in Polk Township.

The first incident happened between midnight and 6:19 p.m. Tuesday. The victim, Kim Kuliga, 57, of 134 Heiney Lane, reported the incident happened at that residence. No other information was provided by police.The second theft was reported at 9 a.m. Wednesday. The victim is Henry Snyder, 65, of Kunkletown.Police said someone removed a Pennsylvania. trailer license plate No. XJF5386 from the victim's vehicle while it was parked along Route 209 near the Turkey Hill store in the township.
