Retail theftKathleen Smith, 56, of 125 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, was cited for retail theft. The violation occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.Junked vehiclesCitations for junked vehicles were filed against Richard German Jr., 32, of 815 W Princeton Ave.; Jonas Gostonyi, 39, of 306 Columbia Ave.; Frederick Nothstein, 78, of 767 Columbia Ave.; Dion Smith Sr., 52, of 125 Lehigh Ave.; and Amanda Heffelfinger, 35, of 176 Avenue A.Traffic violationRobert Ehret III, 49, of 1492 W. Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, was cited for careless driving and emerging from alley, driveway or building. The violations occurred at 2:08 p.m. on Aug. 25 at Fifth Street and Alley F.Vehicle violationWilliam Jennings, 48, of 485 Franklin Ave. Palmerton, was cited for required financial responsibility. The violation occurred at 4:51 p.m. on Aug. 28 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.
