State police at Frackville reported the arrest of a Lackawanna County man for retail theft at a Schuylkill County store.

Troopers said Gerald Korner Jr., 37, of Carbondale, was arrested following an incident at the Sears store in the Schuylkill Mall, New Castle Township, which occurred at 12:50 p.m. Sunday.Troopers said Korner removed two headsets from the store without paying for them. It was his third arrest for retail theft, which makes it a felony three offense.Korner was arraigned before on-call District Judge David Rossi, of Tremont, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post $10,000 straight cash bail.
