Tamaqua Police have charged Rondel Fred Fucci, 34, of 122 Gay St., Tamaqua, with attempted retail theft following an incident at the Family Dollar Store, 137 N. Railroad St.

Police were dispatched to the store at 3:53 p.m. on Sept. 15 and were met by an employee, who said Fucci had been caught in the act of stealing a bottle of nighttime pain reliever. The item was valued at $4.
