State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County residence in which money and jewelry was taken.

Troopers said the home of Susanne Marie Long, 52, of 50 Long Lane, Barnesville, was entered sometime between Tuesday and Saturday.Removed from a lockbox were two $2 bills, 10 gold coins, various Russian rubles, a British five-pound note, and one 1984 silver dollar.Jewelry was also taken, including: one white gold, blue sapphire pendant; one gold necklace with jockey horse pendant; one blue sapphire white gold ring; one gold necklace with clear heart with horse inside; one pair blue sapphire, tear-shaped earrings; and two flat gold bracelets.Total estimated value of the missing items was set at $2,793.
