A Carbon County woman is facing charges as the result of a domestic incident in Lehigh County.

Upper Macungie Township police said on Friday, at 11:41 p.m. they responded to the 800 block of Rebecca Lane, for a reported domestic assault incident. On scene officers were told by a 37-year-old male that he had been struck by Jennifer L. Paulus, 36, of Franklin Avenue, Palmerton. Police said the victim showed signs of a recent injury.Paulus had left the scene before the arrival of officers but turned herself in to police the following day. She was charged with simple assault.
