A Schuylkill County driver is facing charges following a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 9:19 p.m. on Friday along Interstate 81, in West Mahanoy Township.

State police at Frackville said Ronald Allen Wills, 26, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander northbound when he lost control. The vehicle went onto the berm and struck an embankment in the median, then rolled over into the southbound lane.Wills showed signs of impairment due to either alcohol or controlled substances. He was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for a blood test. Troopers said Wills had two passengers, Taylor Glassic, 20, Marion Heights, Northumberland County, and Bradley Yakimovich, 18, of Mahanoy City.Wills is facing a driving under the influence charge and motor vehicle code violations, troopers said. The DUI count is pending test results.Assisting troopers at the scene were volunteers from the Altamont and Englewood fire companies of Frackville, and emergency medical units from Shenandoah and Ryan Township.
