A Schuylkill County driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday along Route 209 in East Norwegian Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Sheila A. Slane, 43, of Pottsville, was driving a 2007 Mazda A6 northbound and attempted to negotiate a right-hand curve when she lost control.The car started to spin in a circle and struck two concrete posts on private property off the northbound lane. The car came to rest facing south on the northbound shoulder.Slane was not injured, but the Mazda had to be towed. She was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
