State police at Fern Ridge reported on two crashes in Chestnuthill Township.

Troopers said at 4:20 p.m on Oct. 10 Jennifer M. Cirba, 50, of Lehighton, was driving a 2007 Toyota Rav 4 southbound on Route 209 when she swerved onto the right shoulder to avoid a collision with another vehicle ahead of her. The Toyota struck a cutoff pole along the berm, then rolled onto the driver's side.Cirba was injured and taken to Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by Wind Gap ambulance.A one-vehicle crash occurred at 9:40 a.m. on Sept. 29 along Grand Mesa Drive. Troopers said Justin G. Langdon, 18, of Effort, was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse westbound when the vehicle went onto the berm. Langdon overcorrected his steering and the vehicle came back onto the road and into the westbound lane and onto the shoulder, where it collided into a tree with the front driver's side wheel.Langdon was not injured. Damages were disabling to the vehicle. He was cited for the crash, troopers said.
