State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an act of criminal mischief that occurred at a Monroe County church.

Troopers said criminals damaged a bird bath and decorative steppingstone at the Zion Lutheran Church, located at 1919 Route 209, in Brodheadsville. The incident occurred sometime between Oct. 10 and 12.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
