A father and son from Mississippi were arrested by Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department following a physical altercation in Monroe County over the weekend.

At 2:24 a.m. Saturday, police observed a physical fight and yelling occurring in the Wawa parking lot in Blakeslee between David Johnson Jr. 30, and David Johnson, 54.Police arrested Johnson Jr. for assaulting Johnson, his father, in the face and head, causing several open bleeding wounds.Johnson Jr. was transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility pending a preliminary arraignment.Johnson was treated on scene by PMR EMS.
