A Tamaqua man has been cited following an Oct. 18 argument with a former friend.

The former friend told police she was in front of 124 Clay St. at 6:38 p.m. having a discussion with Kevin K. Kaufman, 23. Kaufman wanted her to return a cellphone he had given her. When she refused, he began screaming and yelling, threatening to kill her and set her body on fire.She fled the area and went to the police station, where she provided a written statement and agreed to testify if charges were filed.Kaufman was charged with making terroristic threats and harassment.
