A Schuylkill County woman has been jailed, charged with breaking into her neighbors' home and stealing jewelry.
State police at Frackville said a resident of West Main Street in Girardville reported someone had entered her home and removed rings. The incident was reported at 1 p.m. Oct. 29.Troopers learned that Kayla Leonhardt, a neighbor, entered the home and removed the rings and then sold them at a local business. Some of the rings were recovered.Leonhardt was arrested and charged with burglary, theft and receiving stolen property. She was arraigned before a district judge and placed in the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post bail, troopers said.
