A Tamaqua man who told police he was yelling and cursing in public on trick-or-treat night because his food order was taking too long has been cited.
Benjamin Broad, 63, of 426 Pine St., was at Crown Fried Chicken at 6:44 p.m. last Friday when he became irate over his wait time and confronted an employee. He then left the takeout restaurant and stood outside, yelling profanities. Several children were trick-or-treating in the area at the time.Broad was cited for disorderly conduct.
