McAdoo Police have cited Daniel Villarreal, 55, of Gordon for driving a vehicle with an altered/ fraudulent registration.

Officers were on patrol at 1:22 p.m. on Nov. 6 when they observed a vehicle, without an inspection sticker, traveling on South Kennedy Drive. The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as Villarreal.A records check found the registration had expired in September 2014, but a registration sticker with the date 8/15 was on the license plate. The driver told police times were tough and he couldn't afford the registration fee, so he "used a sticker from another car."He was also cited for two summary traffic offenses.
