State police at Fern Ridge are looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run early Tuesday morning in Monroe County.

Troopers said a vehicle was driven eastbound on Rocky Mountain Drive in Chestnuthill Township, at 2 a.m. when it went off the road on the left side and struck a street sign. The vehicle then re-entered the road, crossed back over to the right side, hit a ditch along the berm, causing damage to the rear bumper.The driver was able to still drive the vehicle and fled the scene. The suspect vehicle is a green Acura which also has front end damage. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
