State police at Schuylkill Haven reported the arrest of two men in connection with a burglary that occurred in July at a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said Bradley Merwine, 35, of Donaldson, Schuylkill County, and Jeff Leach, 34, of Coal Township, Northumberland County, have been charged with burglary and related counts.The two are charged in connection with a burglary that occurred during the overnight hours of July 4-5 at the home of Robert Madenford, 43, of 253 Main St., Porter Township. A garage on the property was entered, and various power tools and a toolbox were removed.
