Two people who police said tried to scam Carbon County Adult Probation officers have been arrested by Jim Thorpe police.

They are Michael Lawrence Curry, 26, of 249 E. Patterson St., Lansford, and Traven Patrick Greenzweig, 26, of 253 W. White St., Summit Hill.Police said it is alleged they tried to scam the probation officers when they illegally provided drug-free urine during separate screening incidents.Curry was arrested for the incident that took place at 4 p.m. Sept. 22 at the probation office, while Greenzweig's arrest dates back to the illegal attempt at 3 p.m. Nov. 14.
