State Sen. John Yudichak, D-Carbon, and state Rep. Doyle Heffley, R-Carbon, recently announced that a number of Carbon County projects will receive funding through the Monroe County Local Share Account from the Commonwealth Financing Authority.

Projects include:

• Mahoning Township: $66,319 on behalf of the Mahoning Township Fire Company for its Fire Company No. 1 Rehabilitation Project.

• Jim Thorpe: $24,631 for the purchase of automatic license plate readers for the police department.

• Lehighton: $18,391 in funding for the purchase of automatic license plate readers for the police department.
