State police investigate break-ins

State police at Fern Ridge reported on two burglaries investigated by troopers.

A home at 51 Delaware Drive in the Pleasant Valley West development in Penn Forest Township, was entered and removed were copper wire and copper pipe. The entry occurred sometime between Nov. 8 and Saturday. The home is owned by Robert N. Brounce, 58, of Levittown, Bucks County.A home at 351 Silver Valley Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, was entered by breaking open the front door. Once inside the criminals went to the basement and stole a 16-inch Craftsman chain saw, two rolls of Romex copper wire, and various miscellaneous hand tools.The break-in occurred sometime between Sept. 7 and Nov. 1. The home is owned by James Franklin Warnock, 62, of Farmdale, Lancaster County.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
