Kyle Robert Kubin, 30, was turned over to state parole agents after an altercation with police Thursday in Weissport.

Police approached Kubin, who was wanted for a parole violation, at 2:40 p.m. near the intersection of White and Park streets.Kubin attempted to flee and struggled with the troopers who eventually apprehended him.Additional criminal charges are pending, police said.
