A Kresgeville man injured his left hand Wednesday when the 2007 Dodge Dakota he was driving went off Beltzville Road and struck a tree in Polk Township at 6:30 p.m.

Despite the minor injury, Arthur Ackerman, 80, did not need to be transported from the scene.Police said he would be cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
