A speeding stop by police led to drug charges against the driver.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Brian Shouldis, 49, of Swoyersville, was stopped for speeding at 9:56 a.m. Thursday along Route 115 at Burger Road in Blakeslee. At the stop police could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.Police subsequently searched the vehicle and recovered a small amount of marijuana. Police said charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding 65 mph in a 55 zone, will be filed against Shouldis.
