Mischief incidents being investigated

Nesquehoning police are investigating criminal mischief incidents.

Officer Timothy Wuttke received complaints of six criminal mischief incidents in the 200 block of West Catawissa Street and the 200 block of West Mill Street.Six different vehicles had one or more tires cut and damaged. The suspect cut the side walls to the tires. Police said there was reportedly $1,000 in damages.As a result of the investigation Wuttke has identified a suspect, and a utility knife suspected to have been used in the incidents was seized.The suspect's name has not been released by police, pending the filing of charges. The police report did not indicate when the incidents occurred.
