State police at Lehighton are investigating a report of a stolen car.

Douglas J. Kuntz Jr., 22, of Lehighton, said his dark green Volkswagen Golf was stolen in Parryville between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday.Police said the vehicle was left not far from the theft site, the 500 block of Centre Street. Franklin Township police had the car towed before Kuntz reported it stolen.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
