No one was hurt in a one-vehicle crash at 4:03 p.m. Jan. 22 on Mountain Road in Ross Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said Matthew P. McCoy, 18, of Bangor, was driving a 2009 Hyundai Elantra westbound on Mountain Road and was negotiating a left curve in the roadway when he lost control of the vehicle. It traveled into the opposite lane of travel and struck a tree with its right front, resulting in disabling damages.Police said McCoy was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
