A 19-year-old Jim Thorpe man will be arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said the charges relate to an incident at 10 p.m. Thursday at 318 S. First St., Lehighton.Police said while taking the teen into custody for a warrant issued by the South Whitehall Township Police Department, they found him to be in possession of the contraband.
