Charges of driving under the influence of alcohol are pending against Andrew C. Watson of New Tripoli after a traffic stop at 2:14 a.m. Sunday at Owl Valley Road in the area of Humminmgbird Road in Lynn Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said Watson was stopped for a summary traffic offense, after which time police said he exhibited signs of intoxication. He was transported to the Lehigh County Prison in Allentown, where a blood-alcohol test was administered.
