A Schuylkill County driver was cited in a rear-end crash in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Darrins W. Lynch, 46, of Minersville, driving a 2014 Ford Explorer, and Matthew J. Vega, 26, of Emmaus, driving a 2011 Toyota Corolla, were both eastbound on Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township on Tuesday at 7:42 a.m.Troopers said Lynch's vehicle struck Vega's in the rear, causing it to spin out and hit a snow bank along the south shoulder. The Corolla came to final rest partially blocking the right lane. On impact the Explorer also struck a snow bank on the south shoulder, coming to final rest against the bank.No one was injured. Both vehicles had to be towed.Troopers cited Lynch for following too closely.
