A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:04 p.m. on Thursday along Route 125 (Tremont Road), in Pine Grove Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Jesse Winn, 44, of Second Street in the village of Joliet, was driving a 2007 GMC Sierra pickup northbound when, for unknown reasons, he crossed the double yellow line and entered the southbound lane.The truck continued across the road and onto the berm where it struck the residence at 231 Tremont Road.The truck deflected off the residence and then continued in the southbound lane until it came to rest in the southbound lane, on the white fog line, missing the driver's side front wheel.Damages to the truck were termed heavy.Winn was not injured. The police report indicated a DUI charge is pending.
