Two Tamaqua residents were arrested afterthey were caught stealingat a Nesquehoning business.
According to police, Camille Lukas and her son Thomas John Lukas Jr., of 31 Lafayette Ave., were observed taking merchandise from Redner's Warehouse Markets on Sunday afternoon. Thomas was taking meat and stuffing it in hismother's purse. The pair took a total of $63 worth of food and items from the store.They were taken into custody and face charges for retail theft.
