A McAdoo man was arrested and jailed on Monday after he violated a protection from abuse order.

The victim reported the violation to McAdoo police after her ex-boyfriend accosted her at the post office. The woman told officers she was placing mail in the collection box at 5:53 p.m. when David Ritsick, 53, used his vehicle to "box her in," yelling profanities out of his vehicle window. She was forced to drive on the sidewalk to escape.Ritsick was arraigned on the PFA violation and placed in the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, in lieu of $15,000 straight cash bail.
