A Schuylkill County man is being sought for simple assault and related incidents stemming from a domestic incident.

State police at Frackville have obtained an arrest warrant for David Tavares, 28, of Saint Clair.Troopers said Tavares was involved in a domestic incident at 5:55 a.m. on Feb. 19 at on Chestnut Street in New Castle Township. He is accused of assaulting a 26-year-old female from Pottsville at that location.
