State police at Frackville are investigating a theft from vehicle incident in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said criminals used some type of towing device to move a parked 2000 Chrysler Corde LX from where it was originally parked in a wooded area north of the village of Kaska. They then smashed the driver side window and burned the driver seat with an unknown object.They then damaged the front and interior of the vehicle. Several pieces of personal property were stolen from the vehicle. The incident occurred sometime between 9:30 and 11 p.m. on Saturday.
